This Privacy Policy explains how PT GooSend Andalan Semeru ("Goorita Send", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects the personal data of our customers ("you") when you use the Goorita Send website, customer dashboard, API and international shipping services. This policy is prepared with reference to Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
1. Data We Collect
Account data: your name, email address, mobile phone number and password (stored only in hashed form). Your phone number is verified with a one-time password (OTP) sent via WhatsApp.
Shipment data: the name, address, postal code, phone number and email of both the sender and the recipient; the type, description, quantity, HS code, value, weight and dimensions of the items; and any supporting documents you upload, such as a commercial invoice or packing list.
Saved addresses: sender and recipient addresses you choose to save in your address book for future shipments.
Transaction data: order history, the payment method you selected, payment status, account balance and credit usage, invoices and vouchers used. We do not store card numbers or e-wallet credentials. Online payments are processed directly by our payment gateway partner, Midtrans.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and the cookies and local storage described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Your Data
To calculate shipping rates, create and process your orders, arrange pickup or drop-off, and deliver your shipments.
To prepare airway bills and shipping documents and to complete export and import customs clearance.
To process payments, invoices, weight adjustments, refunds and claims.
To let you and your recipient track a shipment. Tracking details are only shown after the last 4 digits of the sender's or recipient's phone number are verified.
To verify your phone number, secure your account and prevent fraud and abuse (including through Google reCAPTCHA).
To contact you about your orders and respond to customer service requests.
To send news and promotions, only if you tick the subscription option at checkout. You may unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who We Share Your Data With
We never sell your personal data. We share it only as far as needed to provide the service, with:
Our first mile, freight and last mile logistics partners that handle your shipment in Indonesia and in the destination country;
Customs and other government authorities in Indonesia and the destination country;
Midtrans, our payment gateway, to process online payments;
Our messaging provider, to deliver OTP codes via WhatsApp;
Our accounting system provider, for customer, invoice and payment records;
Insurance providers, if you purchase shipment insurance;
Law enforcement or other authorities when required by law or a court order.
International shipping requires the recipient's details and the description of the items to be sent outside Indonesia. By placing an international order, you understand and agree to this transfer.
4. Data Storage, Security and Retention
Your data is stored on secured servers and protected with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access for our staff, and activity logging. Supporting documents can only be accessed by you and authorized staff.
Draft orders that are never confirmed are automatically deleted, together with their uploaded files, 2 months after they were created.
Completed orders, invoices and payment records are kept for as long as required by tax, accounting and customs regulations.
Technical and integration logs are deleted automatically after a limited period.
5. Your Rights
Under applicable law, you have the right to:
Access your personal data and request a copy of it;
Correct inaccurate data through your profile and address book, or by contacting Customer Service;
Delete your account from your profile page. Records that we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, are retained;
Withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time.
